Matthew Boots is a patent agent with many years of experience in the intellectual property law field, focusing his practice primarily on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the computer science, medical device, and mechanical arts. Matthew has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering focusing in controls. Matthew has prepared and prosecuted patent applications for a range of technologies including surgical devices, robotics, nuclear reactors, magnetic resonance imaging systems, and control systems.  He also has extensive experience with prosthetic design, human machine interfaces, and virtual reality applications.
